Happy Birthday Abby!!

Abby turned 11 years old this week. She decided to play laser tag for her birthday and it was a total blast. She also got to go to a Rockies game and got to be on the Jumbotron.



Abby is a great wakeboarder and is looking forward to Lake Powell.
She loves soccer and gets exited when she gets to play goalie. She made some great stops this past Spring and her team went undefeated.

Abby will be going into 6th grade next year.

Happy 1st Birthday Treven!!

Ok, it's one week late but with all the craziness the past few weeks I figure that's pretty good. As you can seen Treven is a very happy, smiley baby.

Happy Birthday Sadie!!!

Sadie is 8 years old today. She has chosen to be baptized in Utah later this month.

Sadie built her own skateboard this year. She is a real go-getter!!


Sadie loves to go tubing. As you can see, she doesn't like to hold on.
Sadie is in 2nd grade and reads like a 4th grader.

Madison got pretty good on the wakeboard this year.

Madison started playing basketball this year and really loved it.

We did not have a johnny jump up for the girls and now I wish we had. Treven really likes it. The only problem is that sometimes we cannot get him to support weight on his legs- all he wants to do is jump, jump, jump!

Trip to the Jazz game

We got to go to a preseason game this year. 6th row. Boys had a great time. Brock wanted a treat but I told him we had to wait for half time - so 5 minutes later he told me he had to go to the bathroom really bad. As soon as I took him up he said - "so since we are up here we can get treats now, right." Sneaky kid

Sadie and Abby - Soccer 2009

Sadie and Abby had great soccer seasons this year. They both played both offense and defense and Abby played goalie several times. They have a fantastic coach and we enjoy watching them play on those crisp autumn mornings.

Making the most of the end of the Summer.

We spent the day hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Here is Treven on his first hike. He doesn't look all that comfortable to me but everyone swore that he was happy and comfortable. He must have been fine because he enjoyed the whole 3 1/2 hour hike without making a peep.


Here are the girls just before we got to Alberta Falls. Nicole looks a little nervous because what you can't see next to them is a 100 ft vertical drop.


After the hike we went on a tram ride in Estes Park. We were lucky to get a ride since they were about to close and their credit card machine had just broken. Sadie could barely contain her sinister laughs as we sped up the mountain.

Madison's First Swim Meet

Madison's first swim meet was today and she did great. Her team won the medley relay quite handily and she also won her backstroke race.

Abby is now 10 years old! Can you believe how old she is getting? Abby and Howard went to a fishing derby for her birthday and she caught like 5 fish. They were no whales but just as fun to catch.
