Making the most of the end of the Summer.

We spent the day hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Here is Treven on his first hike. He doesn't look all that comfortable to me but everyone swore that he was happy and comfortable. He must have been fine because he enjoyed the whole 3 1/2 hour hike without making a peep.

Here are the girls just before we got to Alberta Falls. Nicole looks a little nervous because what you can't see next to them is a 100 ft vertical drop.

After the hike we went on a tram ride in Estes Park. We were lucky to get a ride since they were about to close and their credit card machine had just broken. Sadie could barely contain her sinister laughs as we sped up the mountain.

Here we are at the top with Estes Park about 1100 feet below.

And here is the amazing view from the top.

Quite the way to end the summer. Wow, that was quite the hike!! Sounds like so much fun. It sure is beautiful. I would have been nervous too with 100 ft. drop right behind my family. I bet riding the tram was fun. Treven is certainly growing. I notice his growth more than you guys do because I haven't seen him for some time.
Howard, thank you so much for sharing your pictures. It is so much fun to see all of you.
