Bragging Rights
One of the best things about being the mom is that I get to brag about my great kids. So in that spirit....
Last week Abby tried out for the school talent show. She sang "When There Was Me and You" from High School Musical. She had to sing in front of 4 teachers and they only choose 20 students to perform in the actual show which is next week. Today she found out that she made the cut and is in the show. Congratulations Abby!!
But Abby is not the only child I am going to brag about. I want to share with you a selection of Madison's spelling words this week. Madison wasn't being challenged in spelling with the lists that the rest of the class were using and so now she has to make her own every week. Here are a few from this week.
lachrymose
perspicacity
lackadaisical
consanguineous
schadenfreude
Yes... I know, it is scary!!!
Last but not least, is my daughter Sadie. She just read (with very little help) I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer. She is a reading machine! What am I going to do with my kids? Aren't they great! Honestly, it is days like this that make up for all the other days!:)

Soccer Chicks
Abby has been playing on the same team now for four seasons. This Saturday she played Goalie for one quarter and had a good save. She is a hustler and positions herself well to help the team. She loves soccer and looks forward to soccer season!
Sadie played soccer for the first time last fall and loved it! She is playing again this spring and she is a go-getter! She scored a goal for her team on Saturday and she had a couple amazing passes. Go Cheetahs!!
